Flic-en-Flac is a suburb in the west coast of Mauritius. It falls under the district of Riviere Noire. The village got its name from a popular phrase by the Dutch “Fried Landt Flaak” which means Free, Flat Land. The beach of Flic-en-Flac which is spread over the area of 13km offers the best picnic spot for not just the tourists but also the locals. Even the night time is lively and the atmosphere is full of energy with the visitors singing and dancing to some of the best rhythms.
