Third largest and most populated town located in Plains Wilhems District of Mauritius island. Previously Beau Bassin, and Rose Hill were two separated towns which were merged later into a single one. It is the home to Villa Eureka, built in 1800 by British, famous for its French style architecture. The town is known for its high quality silk and fabrics.
