The small hill station, full of surprises, is located in West Jaintia Hills district of Meghalaya state. Dawki is a major centre of trade between India and Bangladesh, besides trade hub its is also famous for its tourism worldwide. The city attracts a lot of tourists during the month of spring as it hosts a boat riding competition on the Umngot River.
