The village of Long Mountain (also called as Montagne Longue) is situated in the northern part of the Republic of Mauritius. It is positioned in the hilly region of the Pamplemousses district. The name is given to the suburb due to presence of a long mountain which is stationed like a blockade between Port Louis and the village. The Terre Rouge River flows through the south-west of the area. The area has small spas, local outlets, eateries and amazing mountain views.
